Sunday Morning Activities

Celebration Chapel is offered during the 9 and 11 o'clock worship during the academic year and at the 10 'clock worship during the summer for children kindergarten through 3rd grade. Celebration Chapel nurtures the spiritual development of our children as it also prepares them for worship. The children remain in worship until just prior to the reading of the Scripture. At that time they are invited to listen to scripture, sing songs, and respond with an activity. Directly following the sermon in the sanctuary, they rejoin their parents for the remainder of worship.

Worship kits are available for children who remain in worship as a tool assisting their worship experience. These binders are located just outside the main sanctuary doors.

Faith Forest, a workshop rotation model of Sunday School, begins again this fall.In this workshop, the children are invited to participate in exploring scripture stories through a variety of medium including art, drama, and computers. Watch for announcements for when it start again.

Child Care is an important part of our ministry at First Presbyterian Church. Sunday mornings child care is offered for infants to age four, from 7:45 am until 12:30 pm. Child care, infants to 3rd grade, is also offered on Wednesday evenings from 4:00 pm until 8:30 pm for those participating in choir practice, Bible study, and fellowship groups. See summer schedule.
